Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is improving patient care by speeding up the process of patient feedback after implementing a new Digital Pen and Paper solution from technology innovator Anoto and UK partner Ubisys. 
Siemens Healthcare has integrated the navigation technology MediGuide from St. Jude Medical into its Artis zee angiography systems. By means of magnetic targeting, MediGuide locates the catheter during cardiac interventions and projects its precise position in real-time on a previously acquired fluoroscopy image of the patient. Siemens Healthcare has recently signed a ten-year partnership agreement with German hospital operator Evangelisches Krankenhaus Bielefeld (EvKB), which is investing in a completely new radiology suite with the latest equipment in order to provide optimal care for patients. 
CSC (NYSE: CSC) has closed the acquisition of iSOFT Group Limited (ASX: ISF), one of the world's largest providers of advanced healthcare IT solutions. The acquisition complements and strengthens CSC's market-leading software products and healthcare integration and services portfolio, and enhances its healthcare research and development capabilities. 
Trelleborg is set to be the latest in a long line of local authorities in the south of Sweden to roll out Tieto's Procapita solution to provide IT support for elderly care. The agreement affects 1,250 employees and around 3,700 customers. 
Royal Philips Electronics (AEX: PHI, NYSE: PHG) announced that Philips OB TraceVue Version G.00.20 is 2011/2012 compliant and has been certified as an Electronic Health Records (EHR) module by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in agreement with the hospital certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
