Australia's largest listed health information technology company today announced contract extensions in Northern Ireland totalling £8.4 million (A$17.4 million) for long-term support and maintenance services of its health information systems, including an option for one of the hospitals to progress to iSOFT's next-generation Lorenzo solution.

A mobile C-arm with a super thin, flat detector, Philips Veradius is designed to give the surgeon more flexibility and to improve patient care by streamlining workflow and improving image quality. 
GE Healthcare, a division of General Electric Company (NYSE:GE), and global eHealth specialist InterComponentWare, Inc. (ICW), have signed a strategic agreement to integrate and co-develop their health information exchange (HIE) solutions. 
The Fundación Andaluza de Servicios Sociales (FASS) of the Junta de Andalucía has announced its 100,000th telecare deployment in Spain, helping to increase independence and improve quality of life for service users by enabling them to receive the care and support they need in their own homes.
