A technology company that has helped NHS hospitals in England and Scotland to quickly identify and respond to their sickest patients, will now be known as Alcidion. Patientrack, which is known for providing technology for electronic patient observations and early warnings of patient deterioration to the NHS, first announced it had been acquired by Alcidion Group Limited in 2018.

The company is one of just eight vendors listed on lot one of the Health Systems Support Framework, which is expected to become one of the main routes for NHS trusts to procure digital services, software and infrastructure.

Siemens Healthineers AG has entered into a merger agreement with U.S.-based Corindus Vascular Robotics, Inc.
