@Health: a meeting point to foster international cooperation in eHealth

@Health projectThe @Health Brokerage Event is the second dissemination event organized within the @Health project (IST-015886) which will be organized in Madrid, Spain next 8th and 9th of February.

The event will improve collaboration opportunities among eHealth related organisations, institutions and companies from Europe and Latin America so that they can start new eHealth cooperation projects relevant for their countries.

The workshop will allow attendees to become informed about: the best practices in eHealth in both continents, the next funding opportunities for new eHealth projects, the sector needs and the eHealth company investment perspectives in LAM.

In summary, this event aims at:

  • Introducing the importance of e-health technologies for public health in Europe and Latin America
  • Enhancing contacts between companies and other institutions
  • Promoting funding opportunities
  • Exchanging experiences and defining actions that foster the technological evolution of the Health sector
  • Promoting knowledge transfer activities and the accomplishment of eHealth projects by cooperation between private and/or public organizations
