eHealth 2009 - eHealth for Individuals, Society and Economy

From 18 to 20 February 2009 the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the European Commission is organizing a ministerial Conference "eHealth for Individuals, Society and Economy". High-level eHealth conferences organized by the presiding countries since 2003 represent important annual milestones in this specific field. The Czech Republic therefore plans to carry on the tradition and host this Conference in Prague as a part of its presidency in the first half of 2009.

Call for Papers for the 7th HealthGrid Conference

The goal of this conference is to promote awareness and use of Grid technologies in the biomedical sector by bringing together stakeholders and experts from a variety of disciplines.

eHealth, Telemedicine and Health ICT are a tool at the service of medical and nurse practitioners, patients, citizens, healthcare institutions and governments. It involves many different stakeholders who need to be brought face-to-face to share aspirations, learn from research and experiences, show the possibilities, understand the market, discover new applications.

Living Labs Information Event

The European Commission is organising a Living Labs Information Event, to be held in Brussels on Wednesday, 14 January 2009, at 10:30-17:30 hrs. This event will provide opportunities to exchange Living Labs related information, potentially relevant in the context of the FP7 ICT 4th and 5th Calls for Proposals, and for the CIP ICT-PSP (ICT Policy Support Programme) 3rd Call, all foreseen for 2009.
