For the first time in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), leaders across all spectrums of healthcare IT will come together 10 October, for The World of Health IT (WHIT) satellite symposia which are designed for healthcare IT leaders, physicians, nursing informatics and other international eHealth professionals.
The International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH), the South African Medical Research Council, the South African Department of Health and the Presidential National Commission (PNC), are proud to announce that the 11th ISfTeH International Conference will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 26 to 29 November 2006. Common and widespread Internet access changes the relationship between patients and health care providers, both in areas with well-developed and less developed care systems. The future of efficient healthcare relies on the competent, informed and self-caring patient.
The conference is formerly known as the International Affiliates Meeting and after we have met in Dresden (Germany) in 2000, then Reading (United Kingdom), Melbourne (Australia), Daegu (Korea), Acapulco (Mexico) and last year in Taipei (Taiwan) we will now meet late August in Cologne.
10-13 October 2006, Geneva, SwitzerlandThe World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition promises to be a first of its kind event, attracting leaders and experts in health IT from Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
