eHealth Week 2012 Opens Focusing on "the Continuum of Care"

eHealth Week 2012, the largest annual pan European Health IT event has begun. Delegates from around the world - politicians, hospital managers, health specialists, IT managers and many others interested in the optimal use of advanced information technology and management systems in healthcare - has set the course for the Bella Center for three days of discussion on how to tackle the future healthcare challenges facing Europe is facing.

Denmark Gives the Health Care Sector an e-Push

Ministers for Health and top government officials from all of Europe are on their way to Copenhagen to discuss health IT and telehealth. Together with the European Commission, The Danish Minister for Health, Astrid Krag, hosts the yearly "High Level eHealth Conference" which takes place in Copenhagen on 7-9 May.

ePractice.eu Workshop: EU-US Cooperation on eHealth

Global eHealth Strategies Symposium at Med-e-Tel 2012

The Med-e-Tel 2012 will feature the second edition of the Global eHealth Strategies Symposium, which was initiated at last year's Med-e-Tel. The aim is to provide an intercultural and multidisciplinary framework in order to promote policy dialogue on how eHealth can address health and healthcare issues and challenges in developing countries, but just as well in developed countries.

The economic assessment method described reflects the latest research from the NMS Physiome project, a cooperation of two of the largest global research projects focusing on predictive, personalised and integrative musculoskeletal medicine: the Osteoporotic Virtual Physiological Human (VPHOP) project, and the Center for Physics-based Simulation of Biological Structures (SIMBIOS) at Stanford University.
