eHealth Week 2013 Successfully Concludes in Dublin

eHealth Week 2013, the largest annual gathering of pan-European eHealth communities, has ended having hosted two main events: the High Level eHealth Conference, co-organized by the European Commission and Irish Government as holder of the Presidency of the European Union, and WoHIT (World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition) organized by HIMSS Europe.

From 13 - 15 May, Ireland will be hosting eHealth Week, as part of Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The theme - "Delivering Innovative Healthcare and Well-being" - provides an opportunity to highlight the potential for eHealth development and to showcase the very best that Ireland has to offer in this area, while also supporting the broader EU objectives of economic stability and sustainable growth.

eHealth Week 2013, a joint venture by the Irish Presidency, the EU Commission and HIMSS Europe, is taking place in the Convention Centre Dublin from 13th-15th May. Delegations from the Health Ministry in each Member State are invited and at least two EU Commissioners are expected to attend.
